I build applications end to end: data model, API, interface, deployment and ongoing maintenance once real users start using it. That last part taught me the most.

On the back end, I work in Java with Spring Boot; on the front end, I use TypeScript with Next.js and React. I like explicit data models, versioned migrations and code another developer can pick up without a meeting.

I pay serious attention to what AI is doing to this craft: it shifts the work toward review, decision-making and context. That's the main subject of my blog, along with the broader question of how it changes the way teams work together.
